Sticky Bacon-Wrapped Sausages

This Bacon-Wrapped Sausages recipe is a tasty addition to your repertoire. Use pork sausages and middle bacon rashers combined with a bbq sauce to create a delicious meal and serve with your choice of salad or mash and vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • 4 middle bacon rashers, rind removed, halved lengthways
  • 8 pork sausages (you can use any sausage you like)
  • 2/3 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mixed dried herbs
  • Salad leaves or Mash and Vegetables to serve

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Wrap 1 piece of bacon around 1 sausage.
  2. Secure with a toothpick at each end. Place in a large baking dish. Repeat with remaining bacon and sausages.
  3. Combine barbecue sauce, garlic, sugar and herbs in a jug. Pour over sausages.
  4. Bake, basting with sauce mixture, for 35 to 40 minutes or until sausages are browned and cooked through.
  5. Remove toothpicks. Serve with salad or vegetables
