Lamb Chops in
Red Wine Sauce – Slow Cooker

Try these Lamb Chops in Red Wine Sauce if you are sick of the same old grilled lamb chops! Why not turn your chops into something delicious? Pull out the slow cooker and dinner is done with next to no effort!

Ingredients:

  • Salt and Pepper to season

Method:

  1. Heat oil in large deep non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Season lamb with salt and pepper. Add half the lamb to pan.
  3. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes each side or until browned.
  4. Transfer to the bowl of a 5.5 litre slow cooker. Repeat with remaining lamb.
  5. Reduce heat to medium.
  6. Add onion. Cook, stirring often, for 5 minutes or until softened.
  7. Add garlic. Cook for 1 minute or until fragrant.
  8. Add tomatoes, wine, thyme and rosemary.
  9. Season with salt and pepper.
  10. Pour over the lamb. Cover with lid.
  11. Cook on low for 5 hours or until lamb is tender.
  12. Serve with your one of your families favourites. Goes great with mashed potatoes or risoni (as pictured).
