Hasselback Potatoes with Bacon and Cheese
Serve it as a main or make it as a side. These hasselback potatoes are a real crowd pleaser.
Ingredients:
- 6 washed potatoes (good sized roasting potatoes)
- 250g bacon
- Sliced tasty cheese (or cheese of your choice)
- 1/4 cup Olive oil
- 1 tspn Garlic salt
- Chives
Method:

Preheat oven 180° fan bake

Slice into your washed potatoes (you can place chopsticks on either side as a guide so you don’t slice right through)

Place oil, garlic salt into a bowl, mix and brush over your potatoes

Place potatoes in oven for 55minutes

Slice cheese & bacon to fit into between the slices of potatoes

Alternate your bacon & cheese in your slices

Place back in oven for 15 minutes

Serve with sourcream & chives
