Cowboy Stew

Cowboy Stew is so versatile, you can serve on toast, pasta, nachos, or by itself, we like to serve with sour cream. 

I always make double and use in the meal the night after.

  • 500g mince
  • 1 can baked beans
  • 1 can of stagg chilli beans (or any Mexican bean)
  • 2 cans of water
  • Salt to taste


  1. Fry your mince until half cooked.
  2. Add in your can of baked beans and fill the empty can with water, swish around to get any more sauce & add to your mince.
  3. Add in your stagg chilli or Mexican bean mix and do the same with your water
  4. Let liquid simmer down on a medium heat and stirring occasionally.
