Cowboy Stew

Cowboy Stew

So versatile, you can serve on toast, pasta, nachos, or by itself, we like to serve with sour cream. I always make double and use in the meal the night after.

Ingredients:

  • 500g mince
  • 1 can baked beans
  • 1 can of stagg chilli beans (or any Mexican bean)
  • 2 cans of water
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Fry your mince until half cooked.
  2. Add in your can of baked beans and fill the empty can with water, swish around to get any more sauce & add to your mince.
  3. Add in your stagg chilli or Mexican bean mix and do the same with your water
  4. Let liquid simmer down on a medium heat and stirring occasionally.
