Chop Suey is generally considered an American/Chinese cuisine consisting of meat and eggs, cooked quickly with veges bound in a starch-thickened sauce. In this case we’ve used vermicelli with diced beef. Give it a whirl and let us know what you think!
Ingredients:
- 500g Deagon Bulk Meats diced beef
- 4 garlic cloves – chopped
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 250g vermicelli
- 1-2 cups of mixed vegetables (optional – use a packet mix for a quick & easy meal)
Method:
- Add vermicelli to hot water & let it sit until the rice noodles thicken.
- Drain & set aside vermicelli.
- Cook vegetables as per packet instructions.
- Fry the diced beef (or chicken, lamb or pork) until lightly brown.
- Add chopped garlic & cook until soft.
- Roughly cut up your vermicelli with kitchen scissors.
- Add vermicelli to the fry pan.
- Add 1/2 cup of soy sauce & leave until soaked.
- Stir in vegetables.
- Serve & enjoy.
