Chicken Breast stuffed with creamed cheese, spinach and wrapped in Bacon. Simple and full of flavour!

Ingredients:

  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 250g cream cheese
  • 6 pieces of bacon
  • 1 tbsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tbsp crushed ginger
  • 250g chopped spinach, fresh or frozen 
  • Toothpicks


Method:

  1. If frozen, Boil spinach. If fresh omit this step.

  2. Make a slice in chicken breast to make a pocket (dont slice all the way though)

  3.  Mix cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, ginger and cooked and drained spinach in a bowl

  4. Fill your chicken breast pockets with mixture

  5. Wrap in chicken in bacon securing with toothpicks

  6. Bake in over for 40 minutes 180° , turn half time to ensure that the bacons cooked both sides.

  7. Remove toothpicks
