Meatzza
Make a Meatzza for dinner tonight! It’s just pizza with meat, easy as. Have dinner on the plate in under 30 minutes. Makes 1 pizza
Ingredients
- 500g mince (your choice of mince)
- ½ onion, diced very finely
- 1 clove garlic
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp salt
- Pizza sauce
- Toppings of choice: sliced mushrooms, grated zucchini, salami, ham, capsicum, olives, basil, baby spinach, pineapple, feta, herbs etc.
- Mozzarella to finish (optional)
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°
- Line a pizza tray with baking paper.
- Mix the mince, onion, garlic, oregano and salt in a bowl until well combined.
- Press out the mince mix to cover the whole pizza tray, aiming to have it fairly even across the tray and right to the edges as it will shrink with baking.
- Place the base in the oven and bake for 15minutes.
- Remove from the oven and drain off the juices that have released.
- Spread your base with your pizza sauce of choice. Top with desired toppings as you would any other pizza and return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and cooked to your liking.
- Cut into slices and serve with a big green salad
