Sausages in Onion Gravy

These Sausages in Onion Gravy recipe is so easy in the slow cooker! This is definitely going to be a regular in my house, super simple and super tasty. My favourite is with our pork sausages. But I’m definitely going to try the country pork next!

Ingredients:

  • 8 sausages
  • 1 large brown onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 2 tbsps gravy powder
  • herbs – optional
  • 2 cups hot water

Method

  1. Place the onion rings on the bottom of the slow cooker and place the sausages on top.
  2. In a jug add the gravy mix, garlic and 2 cups of hot water. Stir well to combine.
  3. Add the herbs (optional) to the gravy mix and pour over the top of the sausages.
  4. Cook on low for four hours (or high for 2.5 hours).
  5. Serve with mashed potato and a side of steamed veg.
