Hasselback Potatoes with Bacon and Cheese

Serve it as a main or make it as a side. These hasselback potatoes are a real crowd pleaser.

Ingredients:

  • 6 washed potatoes (good sized roasting potatoes)
  • 250g bacon
  • Sliced tasty cheese (or cheese of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1 tspn Garlic salt
  • Chives


Method:

  1. Preheat oven 180° fan bake

  2. Slice into your washed potatoes (you can place chopsticks on either side as a guide so you don’t slice right through)

  3. Place oil, garlic salt into a bowl, mix and brush over your potatoes

  4. Place potatoes in oven for 55minutes

  5. Slice cheese & bacon to fit into between the slices of potatoes

  6. Alternate your bacon & cheese in your slices

  7. Place back in oven for 15 minutes

  8. Serve with sourcream & chives
