Airfryer pork roast

Airfryer pork roast

Here’s another modern take on a family favourite. Whether it is a Sunday family get-together or a quick mid week treat, roast pork and crackling is always welcomed. The airfryer makes meal-times so quick and easy!

Ingredients:

  • Pork belly
  • salt – cooking, table or pink will all work
  • 1 tablespoon your choice of oil

Method:

  1. Dry pork with paper towel.
  2. Score the rind and rub in the oil and salt.
  3. Place in airfryer (tested in a 3.5L airfryer).
  4. Set fryer temperature to 200°C for 20 minutes, then lower the heat once finished to 180°C for a further 30 minutes.
  5. Let to rest before carving.

N.B. this recipe can also be used in conventional oven: bake in preheated 220°C oven for approx. 30 minutes then reduce heat to 180°C and cook for 30 minutes per 1/2 kg.
